Hotel di Jakarta - The free Nokia Ash Cloud app is available for immediate download from the Ovi Store and includes updates from a range of travel services. These include NATS (the National Air Traffic Service) as well as links to many airlines and clickable links to their phone numbers.
Although many airlines have resumed flying having been given a cautious green light by safety authorities, there is still widespread travel disruption across Europe and thousands of travellers remain scattered across the continent, the UK and Scandinavia.
Nokia's Ash Cloud app can be found on its Ovi Store by entering the phrase 'ash cloud' into its search field. More than 1.2 billion handsets in current use are Nokia ones. The company says almost all Nokia handsets can make use of the Ash Cloud service.
